Prof. Francesca Capone holds a Law Degree from the University of Naples Federico II and a Joint Ph.D. Degree from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and Tilburg University, earned in October 2013. In 2012-2013 she worked as a research fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law in London.
Currently she is Associate Professor of International Law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. She has been a visiting fellow and guest lecturer at several academic institutions across Europe, including Leiden University and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law. She has undertaken research on a wide range of topics, encompassing the law of remedies, the legal framework governing the response to CBRN events and the issues connected to international law and terrorism.
